I have to admit I was totally pleased with the care I received there..I have stayed at the other 2 hospitals at one time or another and there is no comparison. LMC is definitley the best. |

I would recommend this hospital to anyone..especially if you are considering bariatric surgery. They have invested alot into making this hospital one of the best in the state for this trype of surgery. |

| I work here, so I know that the doctors and nurses are all excellent. Dr. Givens is on staff here, and he and Dr. Strickland are the best in the midstate. |

The nurses and assistants were wonderful! They responded quickly and were so knowledgable about bariatric patients. The room was nice and they kept it very clean. Everyone else I had contact with (radiology, surgery, etc) were just wonderful. I highly recommend LMC! |

| My sister had her WLS at the same hospital with Dr. Givens one year prior to me. Her experience overall was so positive, there was no need for me to look anywhere else. |

Dr. Strickland and Dr. Givens and staff did a wonderful job. The hospital beds where big enough to sleep comfortable in. They even had oversized hospital gowns. Everyone was friendly, supportive, and very understanding. Lexington Medical is the best hospital around! |

Overall, I was very pleased with the care I received at Lexington Medical. There were a couple of nurses that were a little stand-offish, but no one was discourteous or rude in any manner. The majority of the staff seemed eager to ensure my recovery there was as comfortable as possible. Since it was my very first hospital admission, on a scale of 1-10, I'd rank my stay an 8. If they had brought my spherometer in a timely fashion without me actually having to request it several times, and the nursing staff was a bit more communicative, then I would've given my stay there a 10 without a moment's hesitation! |

i had my bypass and was hospitalized here with complications and i will never go back. although for the most part the staff was competent enough, one of the most important keys to getting well was walking and they were not available to assist with that. they only came in to check on me when i called for them. the hospital is noisy and the nurse techs are not very friendly. |

The nurses weren't as sharp as I expected, but they were ok. Everyone was nice. Remember it's up to you to work at getting better and to recover not the staff's responsibility. |

Based on past experience with Palmetto Richland and Palmetto Baptist, I would rank Lexington Medical Center the best. |

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, the ease of finding my way around, and the courtesy of the staff and volunteers. The only problem I had was that my IV was infiltrating into my arm instead of into a vein causing my pain medication to be ineffective. I had to get up and walk 4 hours after surgery with NO pain medication! |

I was in the hospital twice - the first time my surgery was canceled due to complications. I spent several days in ICU during my two admissions. I had an overall positive experience. I didn't have any problems with service from the staff, including the floor nurses and techs, the cardiac cath lab, Radiology and the OR staff. The ICU nurses were particularly attentive and caring. This was my first experience being admitted to a hospital for major surgery and I felt like I was in good hands. I was also pleased that my husband was allowed to stay overnight after I transferred to a regular room, especially since we live out of town. |

I had a friend stay the entire time I was in the hosital with me. The nursing staff made sure she was also comfortable. I could not have asked for a better hospital stay. |

The nurse one my first night was not the best. I did not see a nurse for 4hrs. The call light didn't work. I was is pain. It got better. |

I am from Greenville. The room was not set up for a person recovering from surgery much less an obese person. The toliet was very, very low and you had to step up and into the bathtub/shower. |

Overall, it was pretty good. I had a very good experience having a CT Scan. Very professional and the staff was great. |
