The daytime nurses and staff were angels sent from Heaven. They went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had everything we needed/wanted during our stay. At night is when I found it hard to rest due to the excessive noise on the floor. The staff was not as quick to respond to a call or as caring as the daytime nurses. |

Lourdes is much more professional, better staffed & better equipped than other hospitals I've been in. It has its own bariatric floor. |

I hope I never have to go the local hospital. It is only about 30 minutes from my house, but please send me to Lourdes. It's 45/50 minutes from home. |

My visits to have filter put in and removed were excellent. But the few days I was there for the surgery, I felt like I was put in a room and left. The only time anyone came is was to check vitals, change the IV or I called for someone to help me to the bathroom. Finally on the third day I got to come home. That was the only day anyone even came by to help me bathe. I would still probably rather go back there than to go to one of the other options we have locally. |

Not familiar with other hospitals in Paducah. |
| Comments: |
Because of number of patients, I was not place on the bariatric wing of the floor, so I did not have a private room, I had a room-mate who had the same surgery as me. We did not get the same perks as those on the bariatric wing. |

| This is the only hospital on the area which does the lap band procedure |

They are really about the same in regards to equipment and nurses. This happens to be the only one that has a bariatric program |

I was very dissapointed in my stay. I am an RN in the ICU at this hospital and I hope I got a raw deal because I work there. There were problems with my swallow study being ordered in time, and also a problem with my pain meds and I went 6 hours without any meds. |

all the staff was very nice and helpfull with my stay there. Each time they came into my room to do something they explained in detail what they where going to do. and when i was sick and vomiting they where there to assist me |

I am very happy with the surgry, These first 3 weeks are the hardest because of the pain. However they were very good at managing my pain even after I went home. I was so impressed with they staff at the hospital. They were all kind and treated me as if I was the only paitent. Dr. Arogotte is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He makes you feel like a human and see your beauty even when your severaly over weight. I would recommend them to anyone. |

This hospital has and still is being renovated. It is a beautiful place with very helpful, caring people. |

I felt very well taken care if. All of my nurses were awesome. They want me to come and visit them in a year or so, so they can see how I am progressing.One nurse is even a post-op sugery patirnt, she knows what we are going through. |

| It was the only one that would take me now since I have medicare. The ones closer to me wouldn't even talk to me until 2006 for possible surgery in 2008. |

Couldn't be better if they tried. Everyone was so wonderful to me. And that is not just the nursing staff. Every one at Lourdes Hospital is so friendly and helpful. |
