| It is one of the best hopitals in Charleston, and many of my family members have worked there. |

The hopsital staff were quite friendly and supportive. They easily sensed my anxiety and quickly soothed me with jokes and inspiriing words. Dr. Karl Byrne and his entire staff were wonderful! I've never met such a professional group of people with the most relaxed personalities. |

| MUSC is where Dr. Byrne does his surgery. It is also the best around. |

I have had several stays with Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center. I have had situations happen at both that were bad. This was my second stay with MUSC in 17 years and they both were great. I was treated with respect, my needs were met and they were very caring and friendly. |

I liked the fact that the nurses didn't treat you like you burdened them. I know they were busy, but they were always there doing their job and helping when they were needed. It was nice for them to smile and laugh with you. I felt safe the entire time. I heard another patient acting ugly for no reason, but the nurse held her cool, was very polite and continued to do what she could for them. |

| This hospital is the only one in the area that used my insurance. It is a very good hospital. |

This hospital is the best for having all the equiptment that you would need in case of emergency. The nursing staff was not up to par with the nurses in other local hospitals. This is also a teaching hospital, so you need to know that many other people will be coming by to evaluate you. |

The nursing staff was hit or miss. Some shifts they were great & others were beyond horrible. One nurse actually forced the pain meds on me. I was having a bad reaction to them and requested none. When her shift began, she wanted me to sleep and gave them to me anyway. The facility was wonderful and a lot of respect was given to all patients. |
