Methodist Weight Management Institute offers an all-encompassing, physician-led multidisciplinary approach to weight loss that gives you all the tools you need to reach and maintain a healthy weight for life.

Methodist is one of the oldest and largest hospitals in Dallas and I think it compares well to any of the other hospitals. |

My favorite nurse was Margie 11p-7a when I was in Rm 4129. She was very professional, yet had a warm bedside manner. She also was the only nurse to wash her hands when entering my room. Tell her hello for me if you're lucky enough to have her. |

They would have been a time in my life that I would not had even compared this hospital with any other...but since I've had my surgery, the staff have ready changed my mind. I would recommend it to everyone and I would compare it to Presby Dallas |

IT WAS NOISEY OUT AND INSIDE TOO .. THE ROOMS WERE SMALL AND NOT VERY MODERN IN DECO. BUT WORKABLE SMALL SHOWERS ON 4TH FLOOR BUT I THINK THEY HAVE LARGER ROOMS ON ANOTHER FLOOR FOR THEIR BARIATRIC SURGERIES. |

| I had a wonderful nursing staff. My only issue was that if an alarm went off they guy that was watchig ny cardiac machine would knock while opening the door and just walking in. They do have signs regarding this but I think he just couldn't read. LOL |

Some of the worse care I have ever received at any hospital. I had sleep apnea due to being overweight. Either they were unwilling or unknowing on how to handle a patient with this condition. I had brought my C-Pap machine which they would not plug in and let me use. This caused my time in recovery to be 3 times as long. Very understaffed. I was happy when my Dr. released me the next day, I got better care at home.

They are all about the same. Methodist is a very good hospital, overall. |

My stay was overall very good. However, there were a couple of times I could not for the life of me get a nurse to assist me. I am very unhappy this happened. Also, my pain med pump ran out and it took them over half an hour to replace it. But, besides those points, the over-all surgery and experience was very very good. |

The only "local" hospitals I can compare it to is Arlington Memorial. With the exception of the surgical unit, I feel the nursing care was better at Arlington Memorial. |

Due to inclement weather, there was a very long delay in finding me a room. I had surgery and 4PM and was not given a room until midnight. My husband wasn't able to see me until close to that time. Also, I was told to arrive at 7AM and wasn't even seen until after 10AM. |

This hospital is in an older part of town. It needs better facilities upkeep. (tears in the booths in the cafeteria, etc.)
The nurses were good, though one seemed indifferent to me. The head of nursing on the 4th floor is exceptional. |

| I selected Dr. Rodriguez and this was the hospital he used. I feel very lucky because my care was exceptional. Even the pre-op testing was done very professionally, but with great kindness. |

I was made to feel at ease from the check-in process forward. The nursing staff was well trained for WLS patients. They were kind and caring without exception. |

I have had no other experiences with hospital stays so this is all I had to go on. |

The hospital was excellent. The nursing staff was excellent as well. I only had one nurse that I did not care for, her bedside manner was something way short of nice. But she did not spoil my stay. The other nurses were attentive and very caring. They explained everything to me and made the stay a little more bearable. |

I was made to feel like I was the only patient having surgery, pre-op and the day of surgery, everyone was wonderful and very supportive. |

The staff is wonderful. I was made to feel so comfortable. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to me. I can't tell you how it made me feel. I was almost convinced I was the only person having surgery there. |
