Comments: I hadn't heard of this hospital before my surgery, which mad me nervous. The staff immediately put me at ease during my pre-op visit. In general the staff was attentive (one day they were short staffed) and friendly. They always forgot me at meal times, but other than that, I do not have any complaints.

Competitors: Surgical team was fabulous. Patient care post-surgery was sloppy.
Comments: They gave me sugar filled food after surgery. I told them I couldn't eat it and asked for something sugar free. She said they had apple juice. Then returned and said that I wasn't allow to have it! This was typical of what happened. I had someone with me all the time (and I am grateful they didn't object). She fixed my bedding; showed me how to get up and helped me do it; noticed when my arm swelled because the IV had come out; etc. All things the nursing staff should have done.
