This is a very busy hospital, but they have caring employees. The only problem I encountered was getting some medication my doctor had ordered in a timely manner from the pharmacy, and this only happened one time. |

I had never stayed in a hospital before this. The staff there were great! |

I felt so well taken care of. I had a lot of nurses during the 3 days but I did not feel like I had to update each one on what was going on with me. It is very obvious that they do what they do out of love and compassion for people. |

Only two problems that I really had - they didn't keep the larger gowns on the floor and had to try to use the smaller sizes and nursing assistants and lab techs coming into the room in the middle of the night kept banging on the door and turning the overhead light on when you are trying to rest and scaring the devil out of you. The nurses were great and so were a lot of the nursing assistants. |

MY HOSPITAL STAY WAS WONDERFUL AT RMC. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT ON THE 8TH FLOOR AND THE OR STAFF WAS VERY COMFORTING AND CARING. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THE MOST CARING NURSES THAT I HAD ON THIS FLOOR WERE MAC AND VERONICA. THANKS YOU GUYS FOR BEING SO SWEET AND CARING. YOU MADE MY STAY PLEASANT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO EVERYONE. I HAD MY SURGERY ON THE 13TH OF APRIL. |

The care you receive depends on who is the nurse at the time. Some of my nurses were EXCELLENT while 2 of them were seemingly very uncaring and did not respond to my needs. |

Don't know any other local hospitals. But compared to hospitals I've known in other locales, this one was just adequate. |

My major complaint has to do with the nursing care staff. They would often forget to do things (like give me my meds, empty/measure my urine output). I was doing very well so I think they got a little sloppy. |

| Actually, this is the hospital that Dr. Freeman uses, so I really didn't choose it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. |

Well, I had a better experience in our local hospital (Decatur General) after the birth of my second child, but they also had more nurses. The 8th floor nurses were sorely understaffed for the amount of patients on that floor. I feel like they did the best they could with the amount of manpower available. |

The staff was great about answering questions and getting me whatever I needed. As I mentioned before, they were understaffed so sometimes it took a little bit longer to get one of the nurses or assistants to my room. Thankfully, nothing was serious enough that required immediate attention. Overall, my experience was a good one. |

The nurses do not understand morphine does not work for all people and refused to take it away and give me something else for pain. I was in severe pain the day of surgery until 10 p.m. that evening when toradol was given. The next day was the same thing and the nurse refused to give me the prescribed toradol. I finally received the next dose when another nurse came on duty. |

The hospital and the staff from the doctors to the cleaning staff were very kind and sensitive to my needs. In particular I would like to commend the staff in the Pre-op area for following the wishes I had regarding who put in my iv and how i needed to be intubated to preserve my dental work. |

I would not go to that hospital again, if it was up to me, some nurses were fine, but alot did not like there job and I think they ahd a hard time smiling. Over all it was a bad experience for me, I wish I could of ahd my surgery done at a differnt haspital, I was not very happy at all. The cleanleness was horrible, I actually found 2 cockroaches on my floor crawling, i stepped on them, but then they layed there dead for 3 days, GROSE!! I had to ask everday to ahve my bed changed, for clean fresh water, and towels and washclothes. I absolutely hated every minute of it. |

MY Best freind that had hers done to had to come get me out of the bed I was so Depressed and sore beyound beleif I did have some good nurses BUT IFYOU HAVE A CHOICE DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL!!! oh yeah DIRTY not clean Christine killed a bug in her room were the wall paper was peeling of the walls I have a popcicle stay in the floor from THur til Mon I left Not a sanitary hospital at all THink Again before coming to this place !!! TRUST ME |

I was surprised that there werent showers in the rooms. Also, although the nurses were fabulous they were really spread too thin. Also I had expected private rooms. I did not share my room but it was a two patient room. Overall everything was fine.( Nurses there are incredibly kind and sweet) |

As far as the nursing staff, it was as good or better than any I've ever been in. As far as cleanliness....it had room for improvement. The floors and shower were dirty...especailly around the edges. |

After my surgery I had excessive bleeding, to the point that there was often large spots of blood on the floor, in my bathroom, shower, chair, etc. After these being in the floor for 2 days, they were dry and crusty and flaking......my mother got down on her hands and knees the second day and cleaned it up. She siad she couldn't stand to look at it in the floor any longer...and it really bothered me too, but I was too sick to complain and felt guilty for making such a mess. It made me feel I was dirty being there. I felt the shower was dirtier than I was.... |

any better or more courteously. Everybody was
prompt when you asked for them or for something.
