i couldn't beleive that there was any place in the metro m=new york area that actually had private rooms without charging extra. everyone was very kind and attentive. i had a recliner in my room, which i slept in, but there was also a bed. everyone seemed to be so interested in helping me |

I think the hospital rates as well as Mercy Hospital or LIJ, and much better than Nassau University hospital or Long Beach Medical. |

Overall, the Hospital was above average. I thought that MOST of the nurses and staff were attentive and seemed to care about the patients. Outside of the ridiculous parking situation, it was an excellent experience. |

This was my first time at this hospital and I have to say the very first day I was scared. That lasted for about five minutes. Everyone was just wonderful to me. The staff was the best. They really care for each and person. |

I grew up with this hospital in my neighborhood. I have watched it expand from a small local hospital into a progressive hospital. My baby was born there. I have faith in this hospital. |

I loved my stay at the hospital. They tried their best to make my life comfortable and easy. I wanted to go home but it had nothing to do with the way I was treated by the staff, I just hate hospitals (lol). One warning however, I had a terrible experience in their ER. I don't recommend them at all. |

We were not given the Bariatric Beds, which we were told, the nursing was so understaffed which we were told did not happen there... Thank God I had someone stay 24/7 to help me or I would have been in really tough shape....No nurses walked me after the 2 times one day and once the next...Am not happy about it at all

| It's the only hospital my surgeon performs the surgery. He is head of laproscopic surgery there. |

It is an excellent hospital. There are many hospitals in my area to choose from, but this one's my personal favorite. |

All bariatric patients recover on the same unit, which is nice because the staff are very familiar with what Dr. Vohra expects of them as nurses. Also the patients get to meet and bond with one another while walking in the halls every 2 hours. We all had private rooms, unfortunately mine was across from the nurses station so it was a bit noisy unless I kept the door shut. |

Compared to past experiences this has been the best treatment I have ever recieved. The staff was very carefl in handling me, and very patient adn kind. |

The staff have been hand-picked by the WLS surgeon; Dr, Rajeev Vohra. They know exactly what is needed as do the secondary support staff - physical therapy, etc... They worked as a seamless unit. No complaints!!!!!!!! |

I, personaly, don't have a basis for comparison. As far as hearsay, this hospital seems to be one of the top for bariatric surgery. |

I think this hospital is tops as far as having bariatric surgery there. One of the directors, who started the program, had bariatric surgery there. I think that that, in itself, is a good thing. |

The nurses were incredible...I never felt uncomfortable asking them for anything and they were constantly available and very knowledgable. |

I was concerned before I was admitted that I would feel uncomfortable as an obese person in a hospital setting, but I saw immediately that I would be treated with the utmost respect and understanding. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone I came in contact with at the hospital. |
