I have not yet had my surgery, but I have had my pre-op test, and they run like a well oiled mac. there!! Very organized! Everything in that hospital is for big people. Not just a few things! Everyone was very nice. and they did very well about explaining what they were doing, and what the test is done for. So far I give the hospital 2 thumbs up!! |

| One very major deciding factor was that it is a Catholic Hospital. The focus being on Spirit, Body & Mind.
The reputation of St. Vincent's Bariatric Center of Excellence is as good as they come. I have known many people who have had WLS and the ones that went to St. Vincent's are much more successful then the other WL Centers in Central Indiana. |

In my mind there is no comparison. St. Vincent's is the best choice for any patient who wants to be successful with their WLS. |

They have a beautiful campus in Carmel Indiana. The location is easily accessible and very well kept both inside and out. The nursing and support staff on the bariatrics unit are filled with the Holy Spirit, and this shows in the care and attention that they give each and every one of their patients. Some of the staff have even underwent WLS and truly understand how we feel and the struggles each of us have faced in our lives. |

I actually worked at another hospital when I had my surgery, and this hospital was leaps and bounds better when it came to dealing with obese patients |

The accomidations were nice. Some of the nurses were really good and some were really horrible! I was woken up before i was suppose to be after surgery they put me back under quick but then I didn't wake back up until I was being wheeled into my room. I would probably not go back to that hospital because of this. |

They are so focused on Bariatrics. When I went in for my pre-op test, everything went smoothly, I didn't have any long wait time between test. I finished all my test in 1.45 hours. They have a Bariatric floor and all the rooms are private. They have a walking path marked on the floor to measure distance. I had an excellent recovery. |

This hospital was above and beyond the needs of bariatric patients. The staff was great, the hospital facilitied were exceptional and my doctor was there for me throughout my whole stay. Very attentive, very compassionate, very caring. |

I had heard so many wonderful things that I may have been a bit disappointed. It seems the staff was busy and I had trouble getting help with a shower! which I desperately wanted and my dr had ok'd! |

| This is a review of my first vist to St. Vincents, I'll update it after my surgery. But how did I select it? It was the hospital my surgeon sent me too and it is attached to my surgeons weightloss clinic. |

I've been in a lot of hospitals, for giving birth and having to take bike wrecked kids to the hospitals, as well as just having health issues for my premature daughter. St. Vincents was the cleanest hospital I have ever been in. It didn't reek of medicine. The halls were wide, the seating comfortable. It was a peaceful place, like a library. lol. . .clean, crisp, and welcoming. |

The staff was friendly. The chairs - heck I'd love to take them home with me. The rooms were comfortable and the space was large and inviting. You didn't feel crowded or confined. There were plenty of places to sit. The decor was lovely. I just had a great experience there and I am very at ease with walking in and simply saying hi to the staff and getting a welcoming hi and smile back. |
