How Selected: Limited (outpatient) prior experience was very positive. This was also my PCPs top pick of the 3 she recommended.
Competitors: I have not been treated at any of the other hospitals, but from what I hear, I got a surgery date much quicker here.
Comments: Dr. Harry Sax is the one doing GBS there right now- open- fabulous job. (He's Chief of Surgery) Nurses and staff are wonderful. Rooms are a bit small, especially when there are 2 of us on monitors and IVs. Limited room for visitors. Need to watch your meals- I don't think they have a solid grasp on post-op GBS needs- gave me full sugar friut juice, more than once.
