How Selected: It is the hospital Dr. Brolin is affliated with.
Competitors: I love this hospital. It is the best hospital I have ever been in.
Comments: I honestly do not have a negative comment to make about Princeton Medical Center. Admissions was easy and fast. The nurses were amazing: friendly, caring, and sensititive. Everyone was very responsive and didn't hesitate to consult my doctor no matter what time of night. They were respectful of my wishes and let my husband spend the entire night with me. Did I mention how wonderful the nurses are there???!!!

Competitors: Although I rated it poor, it is actually one of the best in the area for what that is worth.
Comments: The maternity section is fabulous (or at least it was in 2004). The hospital, like most, suffers from understaffing and overuse of poorly trained nursing assistants. If you care about conditions like this, vote for a candidate who will fix the managed care nightmare and healthcare crisis.

Comments: It was quiet and clean and I was given a private room. There was one older woman on the floor that was a complainer and irritable and she was the only irritating influence there. I had problems with my IV line in my hand. My viens are not great I'm afraid!

Competitors: Beyond expectations. I live quite near a hospital that I have used for at least 3 surgeries and I found Priceton to be a far superior institution.
Comments: If there is one thing I should comment on that is the noise factor. Environmental services and others are not considerate of patients in their rooms. They go about their daily routine, even in the middle of the night, as if its their right and to hell with everyone else.

Competitors: PMC is a great hospital. I wish I lived closer so I could use them for all my medical needs.
Comments: I was in ICU the whole stay, the staff was great, they came right away when I needed them. Made me feel comfertable even when I was embarraced. I found the beds a bit uncomfertable, but there is no place like home.

How Selected: Dr. Brolin works out of this hospital. It is a Center of Excellence.
Competitors: I had 2 children at Robert Wood Hospital in New Brunswick and that hospital was excellent as well. I was in the emergency rooms of both hospitals and University of Princeton Medical Center was far better.
Comments: From admissions to discharge all went well. I was told that pre-admission testing was included in my charges, but now I have a PAT bill for $1,250. I am trying to work this out with the billing department now. Hopefully it will be resolved--I will update this.

Competitors: Good, I never stayed in a hospital before.
Comments: The only reason I rated the Staff good is becouse of the night nurses who took there time coming when you needed them other then that I was treated very well.

How Selected: It is the hospital that my doctor performs the LapBand in.
Competitors: Much cleaner, nicer staff-they were so nice! My nurses on each shift were all so friendly. One wanted to come hang out in the "cool" room because my roommate and I were more pleasant and willing to get up and walk than the others in our wing. Another nurse hugged me and wished me well as I was leaving. I felt like they cared about me as a person and how I was feeling. I wasn't just a body filling up a bed. That was really important to me.
Comments: I ran into some detours getting there, which is totally not the hospitals fault. The parking garage was under construction. Any frustrations I had earlier were quickly dissipated once I was greeted by the warm staff. If I ever had to go to any hospital again, I would never hesitate to go to Princeton. I would recommend it for other Bariatric patients as well!

Competitors: Haven't stayed in any other hospitals for a long time.
Comments: Overall the hospital was great but you know how it goes, occasionally you have a nurse who isn't really interested or is just too lazy to help you. I did have one of those, which made that shift horrible, but the rest of them were great!

Comments: THE NURSING STAFF WAS NOT ATTENTIVE AND ACTED BOTHERED BY SIMPLE REQUESTS. MY FIANCE' HAD TO STAY WITH ME TO HELP ME GET UP TO USE THE BATHROOM. ATTENDING NURSES WERE NOT FAMILIAR WITH DIETARY NEEDS AND COULD NOT HELP WITH GETTING MY IV CHANGED TO BE IN CORRECTLY.
