| The doctor was doing his surgery at this hospital. I had surgery in this hospital once before and thought it was an excelent hospital, small with excelent care. |

Th hospital was very clean, modern and spacious. I wish they had Internet access for the patients, but I was only there for a day, I guess that was really nothing to complain about. My husband was given free meals whenever he wanted them and he was welcomed with open arms. |

| The Vista Hospital is the nearest "Center of Excellence" hospital that accepts my insurance. |

I feel this will be a great hospital to have my surgery because it is geared especially towards Biariatric Weight Loss Surgery. Also, it is fully equipped to handle the needs of overweight patients, along with it being fully equipped to handle any emergencies. |

Everyone that i have talked to regarding this hospital have givenit very high recomendations that have been geared towards the sensitivity of the staff and accomondatons as well. They have everything that is needed and geared toward biariatric patients. |

I have had much better care in other hospitals. A few of the nurses made the entire stay a bad dream that I would like to forget. |

Most of the hospital staff was great and it would have been a great exp. except for a few nurses that didn't seem to like there job or maybe they just didn't like me; which ever the case may be the 3 of them made the entire exp. bad. |

| It was one of the local hospitals and I think the main one used by Dr. Hargroder. |

Vista is a specialized hospital that only does Bariatric surgery and a small amount of plastic. Everything there is geared for the bariatric patient as opposed to a larger hospital where there are more patients and probably less attention from staff. |

It seemed the staff to patient ration was incredible--my parents even commented that it seemed there were only 2 others on my floor the night I was there. Everytime I called for something--they were there within seconds it seemed. Overall, very good impression! |

When compared to other hospitals in my area, there is no question Vista is superior to any I have been in. |

The level of care at this hospital is amazing. I feld well cared for and the response time of the staff was wonderful. My nurses alwayd responded quicky, efficiently, and with the greatest attitude. Everyone who works there seems to love their job and not one person ever left my room without asking "Is there anything else you need" from the resp. therapist to the dietician. Rooms are private and spacious and there was room for my husband and son to stay with me. Their meals were also provided so that they did not have to leave me. I felt so secure I told them both to go back to the motel and get a good night's sleep - something I would never do in any other hospital. |

The staff at Vista are awesome. Everyone was so friendly. Everything I needed they were there in a flash. They also let my boys come to the back with me while the prepped me for surgery. It made me feel so much better. My husband was even impressed with the hospital and staff. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 10+++. |

The other hospitals in town are huge, loud, and so many patients that hard as nursing staff works they cannot see to patient's needs as quickly. Parking was unbelievably better. Privacy, responsiveness from staff, friendliness of staff was beyond compare of any other hospital in town. |

| I went through the Neweigh program and this is the hospital that they use. I was very pleased with the hospital and the friendliness of all of the staff. They made me feel like I was visiting friends. |

I was afraid that Vista would not be as equipped, as other facilities, to provide for my unique medical needs. They were extremely equipped and capable. The fact that I didn't know that going is a sign of poor public relations, but not poor ability on the part of this excellent staff. |

The stay at Vista is intimate and quiet. They cut no corners as far as staffing or facilities. The Baton Rouge-area has very little knowledge of what's going on at Vista and I think that gave me a little more stress and worries going into the surgery than was necessary. |

It is a very clean enviroment and they are all very nice and understanding. Some there had not even had the surgery and you would not even know it, because they treat you just like they had been through the exact same as all of us over weight patients. I only wish they were all over the world for everyone. I was blessed.

This surgical hospital functions as a "specialty" hospital and does the Lap RNY almost exclusively. There is no ER and no "sick" patients. All rooms are private and the facility is spotless. The entire staff did an excellent job, they are all experienced with post-op RNY patients. |

They also gave exceptional care to my husband. He was able to stay in my room and all of his meals were provided to him (this was included in the hospital fee). The nursing staff did a great job keeping him informed while I was in the OR and recovery. |

The hospital itself and the staff were PERFECT! They treated my family and myself like royalty. They were truely at our every beck and call! We loved the fact that my family did not have to wait in a public waiting room; instead in my private hospital room! They were great at keeping my family updated during surgery! They didn't mind answer questions or offering MORE than their share of help and support!
I would personally recommend Vista to ANYONE!! |

This hospital was opened in Jan. of this year, they do only surgeries. They have a professional chef on staff, they accomodate family members, made me feel well taken care of. Also, family members eat meals free while you stay in the hospital!!!!!! |

| I selected Vista because this primarially what they do here. It's a new facility and this is where several people recommended I go, and I'm very glad I did. |

| It was recommended through my surgeons office. They agreed to match the price of the hospital near my surgeons office and Vista was 1.5 hours closer to my house then the other so I decided to go with Vista and I am glad I did! |

The hospital staff overall was excellent. I did have a problem with one of the nurses who did not seem to think that I needed my medicine when I asked for it right away, but administration took care of that right away! My stay was great. They made the"meals" of sorbet and crystal light look like a gormet meal with flowers and all! I would highly recommend using this hospital for bariatric surgery! |
