How Selected:	My husband had Lap-Band here on 5/17/07 and this is where his doctor is associated. We were very pleased with the way everything was handled.
Competitors:	All of the above responses are based on several times my husband has been at this hospital including Lap-Band on 5/17/07. This hospital is very good.
Comments:	I do recommand this hospital to anyone that sasks me.

How Selected:	Only one in this area but it has always been good.
Comments:	Very good experience. The only thing I would say that could have been better is the education of the nurses on WLS in particular Lap-Band and what the whole thing entails.

How Selected:	It is the hospital in my area. My surgeon Dr. Thomas performs the surgery here. It is a provider hospital for my insurance company (CIGNA)
Competitors:	The hospital stay was great! I had very little trouble with anything.
Comments:	The only problem areas was in the recovery room when it was time to take me to my room. The staff made some very unnecessary comments in reference to my size and pushing the bed all the way to the room. I complained however to my surgeons nurse and she took care of making sure it would not happen again. Thanks JUDY!!!

How Selected:	WJMH was one of the hospitals that participated in my insurance plan
Competitors:	It was very satisfied with the way I was cared for, even though this was the first major surgery I have had and didn't have that much to compare it to.
Comments:	Very nice hospital, clean, things are looking very modern, updated and renovated, would recommend this hospital without any doubt to anyone. Staff very responsive, private room had a pull out full size couch, so someone can stay in the room to help out 24 hrs a day. Easy access to the ice machine and staff had no problem with having outside-food< such as sugar free popsicles > in their fridge in the breakroom. This hospital also has the best phlebotomists I've ever seen, I've yet to FEEL it when I get my blood taken, and I've had people tell me before I had "deep veins" or even try several times before they could draw blood. These girls are excellent! Kudos!
