Dr. McDaniel has been in private practice in Victoria, Texas since 1995. In 2000, he was one of only a handful of surgeons who routinely performed the Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass. In 2003, he founded Citizens Bariatric Center and now serves as the facility director. Dr. McDaniel has served two terms as Chief of Surgery at Citizens Medical Center. Today his entire practice is dedicated to caring for the severely obese. Dr. McDaniel is an active member in the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is board certified in general surgery.
