My first impression of Dr. Brient was that he was a wonderful doctor. He took the time to answer any questions and was not in a hurry at all. His office staff is very helpful and informative. Very knowledgeable/Very upbeat/ Polite / FriendlyrnI have now been a patient of Dr. Brient's for over a year now - and I am still so happy that he is my surgeon. He is great in all respects. Whenever I have needed him, he has been there for me. I have had a few complications and he has taken care of everything for me. I would rate him 100% all of the time in everything. He will explain everything to you so that you will understand what is going to happen or what is going on. There has never been a time when I could not reach him within an hour or so when I needed him. I honestly can not think of anything negative to say about this man - surgeon. How many surgeons will give you their cell phone number? I personally have not had any negative dealings with Dr. Brient. The staff... [Click here for more] at the center have always been available to me. I recommend this center to anyone that is contemplating WLS.

I went to a seminar and he was great. He seemed friendly, down to earth, and realistic. I liked that he seemed very experienced and also had a good sense of humor. My PCP said he's a really smart guy and she is super critical, so that means a lot! Posted on 08/26/2008 |

When I first met my Surgeon I was put totally at ease from the start. He is very competent and attentive to the needs of his patients and staff. I was well informed and completely ready for the procedure when my time came. He is definitely very thourough and genuinely cares about his patients. He really took the time to explain everything during his initial consultation. He was very concerned about my Cancer and consulted with all my doctors before he would even agree to operate. rnI have a date and am very excited. My husband joined me at my first appointment, and we both really liked Dr. Brient. He put us both at ease, and answered all my questions. He mentioned he prefers to perform lap-band surgery but completely agreed with my reasons for wanting the bypass and believed that it was the way to go for me. My first impression of Dr Brient was wonderful! I can't stand going to a doctor, and I usually feel very negative about it. I have only seen him once so far, but I was immediately at ease with him. He went over the history of bariatric surgery and explained why he does what he does in the way he does. He did address the risks of the surgery very well. He made me feel very comfortable with my decision. The staff I have had contact with have been wonderfully helpful. I was able to meet a few of them and I have spoken to a few of them on the phone since then. I have been extremely pleased so far. My surgery is in a few weeks, my pre-op testing is next week, and my pre-op appointment is the following week. I should have more to add to my opinion here soon!!! Posted on 04/04/2007 |
