Dr. Vargas was really great. He spoke to me as a "normal" person and really kept the setting relaxed. The staff is terrific and they do as much to help you as they can. They have a wonderful support group and the people there are very open. Posted on 10/02/2001 |

Dr. Vargas is a wonderful person. He is very dedicated to his patients and his nurse is a very helpful nurse. He is part of this prestigious group of doctors in Norfolk, VA. They also have an office in Chesapeake. He explained all the details and listens to all the worries. He celebrates with you as you lose weight! He was referred by my primary doctor. I like the fact that Dr. Vargas keeps my primary doctor informed of anything related to me. Aftercare is a most and he wants you to keep your appts. He supplied me of a very informative booklet containing benefits, risks, studies, data and research done on this type of surgery. I definetly give him 5 stars.
