My surgeon was very support and informative and answered all my questions.
Wow. The staff at UCLA was amazing. They all were super nice and made sure I was in the best hands.
I wish we had more of a connection. He was little quiet at first but warmed up a little towards the end of surgery. Maybe more personable?
That he did a terrific job. The healing process has been amazing and left my incisions small and look like cat scratches.
He kept asking me even when I was under their care at the hospital what I needed to do after surgery. I told him walk, walk, walk and he said YES! He also told me to make sure to follow the diet.
He mentioned some but most of it was explained in classes I took and also the handout they gave me.
Out of a scale form 1-10, I rate him a 10.... [Click here for more] I think their both great.

Dr. Dutson, very quiet and was a listener.
Dr. Dutson, he meant business, he wanted me to make sure that I was aware of all options.
Office staff was awesome. From recptionist to nurses, Maria, Dana and Christina.
There was nothing I did not like about him. He was very Professional.
He is a top surgeon.
The aftercare they give you is very detailed and they want you to be 100% Complient.
Point blank, there is always risk in any surgery and if you have confidence in your surgeon and a Positve attitude and Faith in God you are in good hands.
1-10 I would rate him 10+++
Both.

Very attentive. Ready, willing and able to address all of my questions and concerns. He and all of his staff made me feel comfortable and well taken care of before, during and after my surgery. The only negative about this whole experience was the drive to his office. Posted on 08/01/2008 |

I can only say great things about Dr. Dutson and Dr. Tejerian (his fellow/assistant). They have been incredible during this entire journey. I couldn't have picked a better surgeon. Dr. Dutson is quiet, unassuming, and is a specialist in robotic assisted surgery! Yep, I had one of those! He calmly explained everything that was going to happen before, during and after surgery. And has made sure that all of my follow-ups and minor complications have been handled promptly and very efficiently.
I love Dr. Dutson and Dr. Tejerian!!! They are the best!!! Posted on 01/18/2008 |

Very nice, personable and Educated. Very Thoroughand precise. He checked in on me everyday i was in the hospital. You can tell he has real passion for his patience and thrives on thier wellbeing. his Resident team was awesome as well. they were all in and out of my room throughout the day checking on me. all in all I have nothing but greatness to say about Dr. Dutson and his team. He was caring and friendly. All the staff was great and supportive. He is right to the point and doesn't waste time with you. He won't perform the surgery if there is any risk of problems. But he knows how much this surgery is needed and wanted and does everything he can to give you a good result. My only disappointment would be that on the surgery date and after in the hospital, I only saw him once. His fellows and students took care of me while he oversaw my care. Posted on 01/02/2007 |

I was very impressed with his patience, bedside manner and eye contact. He was very respectful and thorough. His office is well run. He is part of a group of surgeons at UCLA Medical Center. He has a very structured program with support groups and aftercare. Overall I am looking forward to continuing my patient doctor relationship. Posted on 11/28/2006 |
