Dr. Carcamo graduated from the University of California at San Francisco in 1992 and completed his surgical training at University of Texas in Houston in 1997.
He has been in the practice of general surgery in San Antonio since 1997 where he has been involved with minimally invasive or laparoscopic surgery. In 2003 he received additional training for the Lap Band System at Harvard University. His practice includes dealing with problems of hernias, intestinal disorder, breast disease, gallbladder disease and offers the Lap Band Procedure for Weight Loss.
He is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
