Dr. Rivas had a great Manner. He took time to explain the Process and what to expect. Made sure my questions were answered.
The Nurse, Nutritionist and Dietician were all very quick to accomidate my concerns. I was advised to call with any questions and when I call the Office Staff is quick to assist.
There is a required class pre and post op with the Dietician. If you listen and pay attention all the information you need is given to you to be successful. Posted on 02/04/2008 |

I think Dr Rivas is the best! I had a good first impression of him that did not change over time. The office staff is very friendly and professional. The aftercare program is also great. Overall I would rate Dr Rivas about a 9 (on a 1 to 10 rating with 10 being the best). His surgical competence and bedside manner both are great. I guess the only negative thing that comes to mind is the phone system in his office. If it was easier to contact his staff I would have to rate him a 10. Posted on 12/02/2006 |

My first impression of Dr. Rivas was that he was very confident and considerate. My impression of him has not changed over time. His office staff was very courteous and professional. What I liked least about Dr. Rivas was that I only remember seeing him 2 times while I was in the hospital after surgery. Future patients should know that he is, in my opinion, a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery. There is not really a structured aftercare program that I am aware of, except for group meetings. He addressed all risks of the surgery and made sure that all of my questions were answered before my surgery. Overall I would give Dr. Rivas a 10! He has changed my life. Posted on 07/05/2006 |
