I was very happy with Dr. Caruan and his entire staff. There was nothing i didn't like about them. Future patients should know that he and his staff do there best fromt he day you walk in the office to be encouraging and knowledgeable and make you feel at ease. The after care is emhasized. I never met Dr. Posner or his staff. I sent in my paperwork to them on February 13, 2008 and to this day still HAVE NOT received any phone calls from his office. I even placed several phone calls a few weeks after I sent my paperwork in. Im glad I decided not to have Dr Posner do my surgery, instead I went with a different MD and will be having surgery on 6-23-08! Posted on 06/10/2008 |

Dr. Caruana is WONDERFUL!!! When I was in the waiting room, I was just observing all the staff, and the way I saw him interacting with everyone was very impressive. When you get taken back into the exam room, you meet Lisa to do your vitals and then history, and then Dr. C. comes in. I cannot express just how friendly and kind and wonderful he is!! EVERYONE I met with was just as nice and wonderful! Then I met with the girl who deals with the insurance. She explained how the insurance approval goes, and that she will be contacting me on a Friday, probably in a few weeks, or as soon as the insurance approval comes in...I just cannot express enough just how great my first impression was!!! Dr. Caruana is the best! I was very comfortable with his manner and his staff are toprate too! It was great seeing Dr. C at the hospital before and after my surgery and even before my discharge today. I will not hesitate in providing the name of my surgeon to anyone that is interested in having gastric bypass surgery.
