Marina Kurian is the Associate Director of Surgical Education at Lenox Hill
Hospital located in New York, NY. Dr. Kurian was a pioneer and continues to
be an innovator in the field of obesity and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Kurian is one of the most experienced surgeons in the world in this
new area. She has taught courses for other surgeons and has published
numerous articles on minimally invasive obesity surgery.

In her practice, she offers numerous alternatives for morbidly obese
individuals including minimally invasive gastric bypass,
adjustable banding, biliopancreatic diversion and vagus nerve stimulation. 
All with an emphasis on lowering post operative discomfort and
accelerating recovery. Additionally, she is currently developing surgical
