Every thing about him is professional but yet down to earth and easy to talk to. Is considered the surgeon to the stars, and I heard him say he has done over 10,000 open surgeries but is fairley new to lap only 150 so far. I trust him with my life. Dr Fobi,
(famous for Fobi Pouch) that's what I had! and he and his awesome team did the surgery, I have not had a problem & I had my surgery on Feb 14Th, 2000. Lost over 100lbs.
I feel great, I weigh 127 and looking to lose another 10 lbs..
I weight train, I'm addictedto working out instead of food.
I love my look...
I feel 15 years younger..

My experience with the surgeons and staff in Fobi's office have been very good over the years. I highly recommend Dr. Fobi, because he has an emphasis on follow-ups annually. Dr Fobi has a good bed side manner, a good sense of humor as well as surgical competence and I like that in a Dr. The risks were all laid out on the table prior to the surgery. Posted on 05/26/2008 |

My impressions of both Dr. Fobi and his associate, Dr. Lee were completely positive. They came off as extremely competant, experienced, but still cautious.
Dr. Fobi's office has consulting pulmonary, cardiac, and psych all in on Thursdays. As a result, all workups are scheduled on that day, and it's difficult to keep a specifically timed appointment. Posted on 10/01/2007 |

At first I thought wow avery outstanding
dr. he is very nolagable and helpful...
but then after surgery it turns more in to
if you need anything ansered go to a support
meeting wish is all good but he ismy dr. and he is the one that got paid I feel he should anser my concerns too...
and the office is way to bessie

I highly recommend this surgeon, his staff, and the Fobi Pouch procedure. Everything went well from beginning to end and Fobi is a highly skilled and watchful doctor who inspires confidence for the surgery, but is also honest about the risks and your part in the entire process from pre op to post op and beyond.
