Extensive Experience in Revision of other surgeons "old" failed bypasses- originally performed open with the revision now being performed laparoscopically. This provides the added experience of knowing why the other bypasses failed and how to avoid the same problems in new bypasses.
Dr. Nusbaum trained under Dr. Kuzmak (the inventor of the adjustable gastric banding system). When Dr. Kuzmak passed away, Dr. Nusbaum took over care of his Gastric Band Patients. As a result, Dr. Nusbaum has patients who have had Gastric Bands since the 1980's. This longitudinal experience exists no where else in the world for Band Patients. |
