Dr Nick and his entire staff are fantastic. After jumping through a LOT of hoops with True Results and then Fort Worth Lap Band. Almost a year later I found myself in Dr Nick's office. His staff is very friendly and eager to help. My first impression of the Dr was "wow, he sure seems young" but after talking to him for just a few minutes I knew I was in the right place. Day of surgery went just as he had told me it would. I was not scared or nervous even just a little bit. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to talk to him after the surgery. But he did come in and talk to me before. He asked me if I was ready, all I could say was "Let's do it!"    Posted on 03/01/2010

My first impression of Dr. Nicholson was that he was very concerned that everyone in the seminar was informed of all aspects of each surgery. He was very caring and very open about the pros and cons and made sure that we all knew that this is only a tool, it's not a miracle. We have to use this tool and work with it. I had the surgery 2 weeks after the seminar (self pay), was was extremely happy, saw Dr. Nick in his office day after seminar and then surgery, each time he never gave the impression that he had somewhere else to be, would have stayed with me for as long as I needed. His PA came and saw me each day along with Dr. Nick at the hospital. I would rate him and his staff a strong 10!!! for both pre op and post op. And the monthly support group is awesume.    Posted on 02/19/2010

When I met Dr Nick I had already started my six monthe pre-op diet with another surgeon. I went to his seminar July 7th and was I impressed. First of all, I cannot imagine why any surgeon wouldn't have a seminar. I think it speaks to the quality of the doctor. I was very comforatble with his entire staff. When I talked to the insurance ladies, they suggested I finish my 6 month preop diet and get thru the approval then change suregeons with the insurance company. This was very good advice and it worked out for me. All is well and surgery is schdeuled for Oct 14, 209 at noon.    Posted on 10/04/2009

My first impression of Dr. Nick and staff was a good one. He is very informative and will answer questions as long as you have them. Allison, his nurse, is awesome and full of information. Office staff quite nice as well. rnrn5 weeks post op - feeling great and have attended my nutrition class. Will have 6 week follow-up with Dr. Nick next week. Baylor offers a once a month support class and I will be attending. There are lots of ways to get the support you need. rnrnWould recommend Dr. Nick to anyone researching surgery...    Posted on 08/28/2009
