Dr. Yenumula is a very caring and wonderful person. I have met him a few times. I met him for the first time about 5 months ago and he remembered me when I met him the next time. He remembered that I had been at an informational meeting with my mom. I was very impressed that he would remember as I know he meets so many people. The reason I decided to have Dr Yenumula do my surgery is because he has a lot of experience and is very up front about the risks and rewards. He is part of Sparrow Weight Management program and they are a very structured program and I think that is what I needed. Both pre and post op there are meetings that must be attended. I liked him. He seemed nice and knowlwdgable. The thing I really did ent like is the weight management center and the surgeon are two separate entities. Its almost like the weight management center has an independent contractor for a surgeon. Im a little worried about this becasue sometime things get lost in translation between the two separate offices. I find it a little scary. Ill tell you how it goes after surgery. Dr. Yenumula is very nice and extremely proficient. I worked with him in conjunction with Sparrow Weight Management. They care very much about you not only before and during the surgery, but after.
