I am not sure that we are speaking of the same Dr. Peter Salmon. I was operated on in 1969 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Dr. Peter Salmon made the option to lead the life I have today a reality. He was the kindest, gentlest human being I have known and I have never changed my opinion of him.
He was always there for me when I needed him--24 hours a day if necessary.
He is my personal "hero" and I love him. He sounds a little rough and abrupt sometimes but his patients' best interests are his total concern.
Overall, I would say that I wish he could be my Doctor for everything, and would have never left Canada. Posted on 03/19/2003 |

I loved Dr. Salmon's quiet, kind and caring
personality from the very first. He
preformed surgery on friends of mine, before
I ever considered or knew of the procedure.
When my husbands health took a drastic turn
for the worst we went to visit Dr. Salmon for
ourselves. The insurance approved right away
for both of us. The doctor preformed the
surgery a week after the insurance approval.
His bed side manner is respectful and polite,
while he still could laugh at all my jokes.
He is a real person who puts on no airs and
will tell you what you should know without
speaking to hear himself talk. The surgery
is his own that he has perfected and
preformed on over 850 paitents. I would have
the surgery again in a minute and Dr. Salmon
would be my only choice... [Click here for more] of a surgeon. I am
sorry to say that Dr. Salmon has retired and
many miss him, as we do. The good thing is
he is only a phone call away, because he is a
friend.
