Dr. Frazee and his entire staff have been very nice each time i have had the opportunity to visit. There was a minor complication during surgery, which i thought could have been avoided and was due to carelessness...but they quickly took care of it and other than that everything has been wonderful.    Posted on 05/06/2007

I first met Dr. Frazee at the seminar that he requires you to attend before a consultation. He was very straightforward and business like in his presentation and was ready to answer any questions people had. I had already done alot of research through obesity-help and on his website which had most of the information necessary for his office and the procedures he does. It also had info about all the different phases of eating that would happen after the surgery. I was a little uneasy about the fact that he has not done a whole lot of these procedures yet. He only started doing them last year. But after meeting him and talking to him, I am confident that he will do a fine job. His office staff has been great. His nurse that assists him with the open procedures was the one... [Click here for more]

My first impression was that he had a lot of knowlege about gastric bypass and that made me more cofortable about the surgery. He address the risk of surgery and emphasize aftercare progarm.    Posted on 11/23/2006

He was very kind and seemed truly concerned for my needs. Office staff is very kind and caring. Friendly and willing to answer any questions. Could have explained alittle more about the do's and don'ts. He does stress the importance of aftercare at the seminars and he has postops come and share. yes, there are support groups He did explain the risk pretty well. Good Both are great The only complaint is that I feel he doesnt see his patients enough. His assistant sees the patients postop and talks with them. She also leads the support groups. My Mom had the surgery 1 year before me. She did not follow rules and has only lost about 60 pds in 2 years. The Dr hasnt talked with her and his assistant hasnt really stressed what she is doing to herself long term... [Click here for more]

I was very inpressed with his upside down drawing. I liked him from the very first time that I met him because if I didn't I wouldn't have done this, now he doesn't smile alot at first. The office staff is very nice and they will return your calls and never make you feel like you are bothering them. The only thing that bother me was that I thought that I would have seen him right after my surgery , but that didn't make me dislike him. Dr. Frazee was very through with me he talks to you about every aspect the pros and the cons he doesn't want you to go into this not knowing. If I had to rate him I would give him a 100% he was just awesome. For me surgical competence and bedside manner so both. I think that I was just blessed that I came out of this ok and Dr. Frazee was just a great... [Click here for more]

I felt that Dr. Frazee had a very dry sense of humor. I only saw him twice before my surgery, however, my impression of him changed at my first post-op appointment. He actually laughed and smiled. He seems like a genuine, caring individual who only wants the best for his patients. He emphasizes exactly what you're supposed to do with your meals, how and/or when to eat them and how much to eat. At my pre-op appointment, which my husband was required to attend in order for me to have the surgery, he goes over a true/false questionnaire and addressess any questions answered wrong and any question me or my spouse had at the time. Dr. Frazee is a good doctor/surgeon. He is not an out-going person, but his compassion comes through.    Posted on 03/29/2005

My first impression of him was good. I saw him at the simanar that he gives. He was very honest about every question even the ones most doctors try to avoid, like how many paitents he had lost. He answered me quickly and without hesitation. When I went to his office for my first visit he was very polite and under standing with my over weight issues. He made sure that he had answered and other questions i had fully and explained what i didn't understand even further. I love his office staff. They were all very nice and would help you with any thing you needed. The thing I liked least was the wait there were several people there to see him.. I haven't had my surgery yet , but he has already said that it was key to make all of your after appointments..He also wants all of his... [Click here for more]

Dr. Frazee seemed very professional, he literally drew the surgery out for me and made sure that I understood everything that I was getting myself into. He was up front about the risks of surgery. He seemed willing to sit and answer all my questions - as long as it took. I was very surprised about that. His office staff is very friendly. He encourages his patients to go to a support group of his and his partners patients each month. I would recommend Dr. Frazee to others. I wasn't sure how his bedside manner would be prior to surgery and was pleasantly suprised while in the hospital.    Posted on 09/20/2004
