My first impression of Dr. Scott was great because I new someone who used him before and liked him very much.My impression has not changed about him.His staff is so freindly they are great. They can't do enough for you. When I was in the hospital I didn't get to see him.I would of like to seen him and thank him.He is a very freindly man and really tells it like it is.He is honest with you.He really talks about aftercare alot.Yes he has a structured aftercare program. He told me all about the risk of having the surgery and gave me articles on the risk to read over before I decided to have it.I give him a big fat 10.He has wonderful bedside manner and surgical competence. My first visit was very fast and I left wandering what the heck just happened?Iknow several of his patients and he came highly reccommended so I just went with the flow .The next time I met with a Fellow and I felt okay. The morning of surgery both the Felow and Dr.Scott came to see me in pre-op.I had to go in the Sunday after discharge there were issues with the ED but he was available on the phone at 1am in the morning that made me calm down a lot.The practice in general seems to be having growng pains with the office staff but the nutritionist, nurses and the psych. are great and the support group are led by one of the three of them. They are very realistic about the risks of the procedure and they do offer aftercare. I think if you need a hand holding Doc he may not be for you... [Click here for more]

With MBS I first met with there bariatric/internal medicinest Dr.Suttlmoeler. He is FATASTIC, truely calmed my nerves as much as possible and was very complete with everything we discussed. We have decided Dr.Scot would be the best surgeon for me and my situation. I will meet him at my preop appt on the 22nd. I am looking forward to it. So the office staff is truely amazing, Leslie is right on the ball, Amy K truely knows her stuff and is sweet, careing and takes time to talk if you need it. Other Amy and Carrie are fantastic. They got write on the ball with getting me in to a surgery date for mid September (YAHOO!!). Fingers crossed my insurance is a proficient. They are big on before and after care in every asspect with them. Even though it is alot of learning and knowing of... [Click here for more]
