Dr. Fowler is very personable. I only met with him once for my consult and went to his seminar as he explained the different types of surgeries he does and answered questions. He's very easy to talk to, and after meeting with him, I knew that I definitely wanted him to perform my surgery. He also has THE softest hands I ever felt on a man. LOL. :-) Posted on 09/30/2008 |

I thought Dr. Fowler was friendly and interested in helping me in my journey. As I continued to visit with him I really found him to be sincere and knowledgeable about the different surgeries. He has a team of Dr.s, nursed, a dietician and a fitness trainer that he uses and they are all very friendly and helpful. They work together to help you find the best program for you. Dr. Fowler was very clear on the risks of surgery. I felt very well informed. Aftercare is very important. My appointments have been set for the next 5 years and he is available if needed for anything else. He really took his time with me and made sure I was feeling secure in the choice I made. Dr. Fowler is wonderful. He is kind and caring. I have had no problems with him at all and I highly reccommend him and his staff at Castle Wellness Center.
Follow up - 6+ weeks out. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Fowler. He is such a sweetheart. He listens and cares. And he's really gentle with the fills! Gotta love that!
His program coordinator, Jennifer, is very organized, caring and helpful. I've only been to one of the monthly support groups so far, and I was impressed!! Posted on 09/03/2007 |

Dr. Fowler is a young, attractive, outgoing and energetic surgeon. With every encounter with Dr. Fowler, I only gained confidence in him as well as his abilities.
Everyone associated with the Surgical Weight Loss Institute at Castle Medical Center was awesome. They were encouraging and helpful. Everything was personalized to me.
The only thing I don't like about Dr. Fowler is that he isn't in his Kailua office enough!
Future patients should understand that Dr. Fowler is very skilled and knowledgable about bariatric surgery. This area is his chosen field and he likes to help obese patients.
Dr. Fowler insists on the comprehensive aftercare plan with the physical therapist, personal trainer, dietiican, and program coordinator.

Overall, Dr. Fowler is excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone serious about improving their health through bariatric surgery.
Dr. Fowler's surgical competence and bedside manner are both outstanding.
