I knew the moment Dr. Freeman walked inot the waiting room and inroduced himself that I was in the right place. Then when he came into hte conference room and greeted each of us by name I was almost educed to tears. To think that a stranger cares enough about my journey to take the time to learn our information in a matter of moments. The staff is wonderful also, they all seem to genuily care about what you are goin through. And when he told us he was not just our surgeon but that he had a for life program I knew he planned on being there for as long as we needed him. Not just od surgery and then just discard you. I had already researched the surgery and have a few friends that are paitents of Dr. Freeman's but really felt at ease once our conference was over. This is the right decision... [Click here for more] with the right doctor. He has been wonderful so far.

My first impression of Dr. Freeman was wonderful, I loved the way he came in and the first thing he did was Pray with everyone. My impression has not changed and I really don't think it will. His office staff can be summed up in one word, AWESOME! I think everyone should not only know his impecable skills as a surgeon but that he is a Godly man and he gives God all the credit for the work that God uses him for and the wonderful talent that God has blessed him with. I am totally at ease with the care I will be provided while I am in the hospital but also with the aftercare as well. He answered all of my questions before I could even ask them. If I had to rate Dr. Freeman and his staff on a scale from 1-10, I would definately give them a 10 + 10 !! Posted on 08/15/2008 |

I am celebrating my one year surgiversary today!! So, updating my surgeons information just seemed appropriate.
They say if you give a 100% surgeon approval rating that it seems suspicious. "THEY" apparently haven't had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Freeman! I most definitely had a 100% awesome experience pre-op, post-op and over the course of the past year.
Bumps in the road should be expected with WLS. Strictures happen. Ulcer's can happen. Bowel issues can also happen. I have had a couple of incidences and even though they were not pleasant, Dr. Freeman treated me with the utmost respect and patience. Some issues can be quite scary. I won't lie, I was very scared at one point when I strictured and had complications, but Dr. Freeman and his PA Tim basically spoiled... [Click here for more] me rotten with such amazing care! Tim did not leave my side until I was all tucked in and being monitored in the ICU. On top of that, Dr. Freeman had to go to Birmingham to attend a dear friends funeral. And get this, he came BACK to the ICU to check on me on his return to Anniston! He is so compassionate. So caring, and the love of his job exudes from him. I can say the same about Tim, Joyce, Ann, Beverly and everyone that works with Dr. Freeman.
I will be forever grateful to all of them. I have a new found love for living my life, and would never have had the courage to go through with my RNY had it not been for finding this group!
So for all of those reading this that finds a 100% approval rating for their surgeon suspicious...Dr. Freeman is that exception!

My wife has decided to use Dr. Freeman for her weight loss surgery. I am alittle nervouse for her, but know that Dr. Freeman will let God use him as a instrument to help further his Kingdom. I have lost 120 lbs to date and feel great. Anyone looking to have this surgery should really consider Dr. Bryan Freeman. Posted on 07/07/2008 |

I have only good things to say about Dr. Freeman and his staff. They are wonderful! Future patients need to know this doctor and his staff really care and are there for you. All aspects of the surgery are addressed in great detail including the risks and aftercare. Dr. Freeman and his staff are the BEST in my opinion. Posted on 06/24/2008 |

First Impression:
My first impression was a person who was passionate about the work that he does.
The Impression Change:
My Impression over time hasn't changed at this time there is a general happiness.
The Staff:
WOW - Almost all were extremely kind and very knowlegable in this area especially sharing in their own experiences. Some were a little rough around the edges but when you work in the accounts payable/front desk jobs they can tend to get to you. General Public (What Can I Say?)
The Least Likable:
There wasn't really a moment to spend with him to talk with him about the surgery but one must understand he is a busy surgeon who has a job and duty to keep up with surgery schedules and do followups.
What Should Other Know:
When you meet him and his staff... [Click here for more] you will know everything you ever wanted to know about stomach surgery. The best part is hearing their own trials and tribulations after having surgery.
Aftercare Program:
Aftercare is a big part of the process and they provide support groups and positive reinforcement to your success.
Structured Aftercare:
Yes they provide all information at the conference to get you on your way to a successful life.
Risk:
Risk are explained in full details with them informing you with some of the risk the doctor incurred with his own WLS. You can't get a better understanding than from someone who has experienced it fully.
Rate:
9 out of 10.
Why not a 10? We are ever-changing people and you want someone to strive to become better. Even though they may deserve the 10 this is an encouragement to strive for pure excellence. And Dr. Freeman and Staff show thru their positive and caring attitude that they strive for just that.
