He was very easy to understand.
I had a lot of faith in him he help me to trust in him. and it was well worth it. Oh well the staff i could go on on on they were wonderful Joanna, went way out of her way to help me with my surgery she is a gem. And Robin she falls in the same place as Joanna. My name is Mildred A. Jones. I have been a patient of Dr. David Dyer's approximately 3 months. I had a Roux N Y (gastric bypass) on October 1, 2009. I am now 3 weeks paost-op.
From my first office visit till present, Dr. Dyer has been very professional in his approach to me. I was thoroughly informed about what to expect from him, what to expect from surgery, the risks of surgery, what he expected me to do before and after surgery, and strongly encourages you to attend support group meetings. Dr Dyer is very knowledgeable and up-to-date in his field.
Dr. Dyer and his staff are friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, they do their best to answer each and everyone. They want you to call the office at any time should you have any concerns about your health.
Surgical... [Click here for more] competence and having a good bedside manner are very important. When someone chooses to have surgery you want to know that your surgeon is very competent in his field of practice. At the same time, the surgeon needs to have a great bedside manner, because that patient is putting their faith (and life) in his hands. The surgeon needs to let the patient know he understands their concerns in orde to put them at ease. In my opinion, Dr Dyer does all this and more.
DR.DYER IS #1 IN MY BOOK!!!

I attended 2 seminars while waiting for surgery apporval. I just chose randome seminars and both times they were with Dr. Dyer. So it was meant to be and I am glad he was my surgeon. He is very informative and takes the time to tell you everything, give you tools to use, makes sure you don't have any questions before surgery and makes you feel at ease. During my stay in the hospital he visited me daily and was not just in and out. He was truly concerned about how I was feeling and always asked if I needed anything. During my consults and post op visits he always explains how important it is to use all the tools, not just my new tummy but the nutritionist, the exercise physiologist and the psych dept. They are all tools that go hand in hand. His bedside manner is very professional.... [Click here for more] He is all business upfront but then relaxes and give you a smile and lets you know you are doing great and is concerned if you have any needs that aren't being met. I was looking for a great surgeon not a best friend and that is what i got. I will always recommend Dr. Dyer if anyone needs a referral. His office staff are always so nice and friendly, they are always eager to help and are compassionate and very professional. I rate my experience a 10+.

I first met Dr. Dyer @ my seminar and I knew when the seminar was over, that he would be the one to do my surgery.
The office staff are really nice to deal with.
Dr. Dyer's staff will assist you in every way possible, you can really tell they love their work.
Your aftercare is very important to them and they emphasize that very strongly. They will be treating you for the rest of your life.
Dr. Dyer emphasized the risks of surgery very strongly. He wants you to understand there are some strong risks involved as with any surgery you have.
Overall, I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. I am very pleased with him and the staff.
I feel that Dr. Dyer is very competent, and his bedside manner seems to be great. I haven't had the surgery yet, but everything is great so far. Posted on 08/12/2009 |

He has been there and done that, he has experience. From what time I have been around him he is always been down to earth. I have not been around his staff very much they answer all my questions when I call. I think surgeons are like clothes one size dont fit all. I try to find the one that fit me, that was Dr. Dyer. When I first began this road to "recovery" from my "addiction" it was very frustrating trying to get information, answers to questions, and just general return phone calls from the center of obesity. But after getting the "ball rolling" where my surgery was concerned things went very smoothly and quickly.
Then I met Dr. Dyer.He seemed confident and at ease with himself. He was very well mannered and polite.
Since meeting him, my impression has not changed one bit!
His office staff are always nice to me when I call, even with a special request.
He will explain things to you in a way that you can understand. Aftercare and support groups are very important to him and his staff. As it should be!
Overall, I think he and his staff are great, well mannered and polite.
He is very... [Click here for more] competent and his bedside manner is just as great.
I have two friends that had surgery before I did and they talked about how much they "loved" Dr. Dyer. And I have to say I agree! I love them. And would definitely recommend them.

I can truly say I have no complaints about Dr. Dyer or his staff. From the seminar he presented, to the post op treatment I received, he was first rate. Dr. Dyer answered all of my questions (and my wife's) thoroughly and with the utmost patience. Joanna and Robin were also so kind and caring whenever my wife or I called the office with a concern. There is no way I could list everything Dr. Dyer did for me through out this whole process!
I also want to take this chance to thank the entire nursing staff in the Womens Hospital at Centennial. There is no way to name them all, but each and every one was wonderful! We did not have one nurse that wasn't a friend by the time we left.
Thanks to Eloise Bray and Pam Davis for helping me start the whole process and for holding my hand... [Click here for more] throughout.
My surgery was February the 11th and I have lost an amazing 125 pounds! Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't change one thing about who I chose for surgery and where.
Thank You Dr. Dyer for the changes you have helped me make in my life!

I knew when I attended a seminar last summer that Dr. Dyer would be who I would like to perform my procedure. He was very through in his explanations and seemed to really know his "craft". He explained the risks associated with each type of surgery(realize band)and what to expect afterward. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dyer and his staff to anyone considering help with their obesity.
The office staff at Dr. Dyer's office is also friendly and helpful. They have been wonderful about answering my questions and concerns. Posted on 06/23/2009 |
