Dr. Krahn seems very nice, Quite! I felt like if I did not ask he would not tell. His staff to this point have been very helpful.    Posted on 09/05/2008

Nothing but good things to say about Dr Krahn, his Assistant Brian and the entire staff. From my very first seminar, to my consultation and now after my surgery, they have taken excellent care of me and given very good education both pre and postop. I sincerely feel as though Dr Krahn and his staff truly care.. that is priceless !! I did have a complication after surgery but even so, I was completely comfortable knowing that they were doing everything possible to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.    Posted on 08/07/2008

Very handsome, compassionate, and knowledgable. Very firm, absolute. Listens and answers questions is always available. Had a very informative pre-surgery seminar, lost of tesitmonies, compassionate fun nurses, adressed all the aftercare, risks, and affirmed me as a good candidate. I believe surgical competence is foremost, but I appreciate a good Dr. who can talk well and care. I've had both. This Dr. is excellent. Surgery is set for sometime in Feb. Only negative is that we both talk fast. He outalked me. Which is O.K. I tend to be a motor mouth. Extra comment - I had a lot of pre op work to do. Surgery was not until May 18, 05. It was difficult getting information on when the surgery was, so I was uncomfortable in April and almost back out. But I'm glad I stayed. I had... [Click here for more]

My first impression of Dr. Krahn was that he was down to earth and direct, which is what I wanted; a surgeon who would take the time to explain things to you without talking down to you would make it easier for me to go through with the surgery. My impression has been pretty much right on. His office staff is thorough, courteous, and thoughtful. Patients should know Dr. Krahn's office staff are professional and compassionate. I'd rate my surgeon and his staff as high as I could rate them. The only occasional problem is getting someone on the phone when you call the office. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't see him after surgery because he was busy at another facility and another doctor looked in on me. I'd have preferred he had seen me in the few days immediately after the surgery.... [Click here for more]

My first impression of Dr. Krahn was neutral. He seemed okay. I need to give it a little more time. I have met with him one time. Steve did my psych evauation and I thought he was very pleasant. The rest will have to wait until after surgery.    Posted on 04/21/2008

Dr. Krahn and his staff are a wonderful group of caring and compassionate people. The treat everyone with the utmost respect and care. It is more like being a member of their family, rather than a patient in his practice. Everyone there makes it their mission to see that you are seen and cared for in a timely manner, from office visits, to compiling information, tests and insurance documents all necessary in the approval process. Dr. Krahn and his staff of nurses are all willing to discuss the pros and cons, procedures, risks, etc. involved with WLS. He and his staff are very involved in the world of Bariatrics. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of taking this journey!    Posted on 04/17/2008

Dr. Krahn is a very capable doctor; a complete professional! I am totally impressed that he has staffed his office with people who are informed and caring about the various surgeries and the patients who are having or who had the surgeries. Dr. Krahn is a straight forward doctor and is thorough when giving answers. I appreciate how his nursing staff seem to be the warmer side of his practice, but they too are very informative and go beyond what patients have grown to expect from other medical practices. Anyone considering gastric bypass would be in great hands if they chose Dr. Krahn and his staff for their surgery! in addition, I am grateful they provide after surgery care via monthly support groups led by a professional counselor and a nurse. My surgery was at St. Bernadines... [Click here for more]

The impression that i got from Dr. Krahn was very impressive. He answered all of my questions i was not just another patient. The office staff is wonderful and always answered all of my questions. Dr. Krahn stresses the after care. So far His bed side manner is and was very impressive he ans the office staff treats all of the patients with respect and dignity and i felt that there was no judgment and wants you to have the best care possible.    Posted on 02/01/2008

He is very caring. He has a Great education program and I feel that made a BIG difference in my success. He did address all the postives and neagstives regarding the surgery. My family was very much included in my education for living after a RNY. The down side is that he is very busy and it is very hard to get a quick answer to a question.    Posted on 01/19/2008
