I liked him to start with, very interested in what I had to say. My impression did not change. His staff is very helpful and kept me up to date on everything. He is very strong about his opinions and what should be done. He is very strong about aftercare and has various thing set up. He explained everthing throughly. I would rate him great. I trust him to do my surgery. I would say both are important surgical competence and bedside manner but If I had to choose it would be competence of course. Do to have surgery next month. Office staff welcoming and warm, even though I was very late for the consultation. Kevin thoroughly answered all my questions and provided me with the information packet detailing what my next steps are. Meet with Dr Ferzli himself and was extremely impressed by him. And totally thrilled that he will be performing the surgery himself!

Dr. Ferzli and his staff are great! Everything is prepared for you from A-z so you now what needs to be done from the beginning, no surprises, they even have a checklist. More importantly Dr. Ferzli is a great surgeon. I had no compications and am healing quickly! Posted on 05/05/2007 |

I met Dr.Ferzli with my sister in July 2006 and he exlpained everything about the operation very well. My sister works with heart surgeons and she referred me to Dr.Ferzli as he is well known for his Bariatric surgery at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. His staff has been and still is a great help to me. They answer any question you have and help you with everything. There meetings are also great and helped me alot decide in which surgery to have. I had my RNY on 4/3/07 and the surgery went well and the Hospital stay was great.They treated me very well. I would highly recommend Dr.George Ferzli and his Staff to anyone considering having the Bariatric Surgery. Thank you guys so much!!

I have not met Dr. Ferzli yet but my Dietitian, Ms Irene Nicolaides highly recommended him. She used to work with him for 3 years. Ms. Nicolaides Spoke with the best words about Dr. Ferzli. I also read the reviews and I really want to meet him I will make an appoitment to see him in 2 weeks. The only probem is that I live in Queens. But... i am very excited!!! Posted on 04/11/2007 |

My first impression was that he is very kind and professional...Dr.Ferzli's office staff is great and very, very helpful...Dr.Ferzli's program is mapped out for you from the minute you consider the option of weight loss surgery...they have a step-by-step checklist for you to go by...the information they provide is amazing...Dr.Ferzli has a lot of surgical competence, after my surgery I had medical students telling me how lucky I was to have such a great surgeon working on me...Medical students have told me they think he is the best at what he does...his bedside manner is also great...my mother told me that after my surgery when he came down to speak with her, he really explained with detail how the surgery went and was very helpful in answering any questions she had...he also came... [Click here for more] in and checked on me throughout my stay at the hospital...he always had a smile on his face and was always responsive to any questions or comments I had...I recommend Dr.Ferzli to anyone in the NY/NJ area considering weight loss surgery.

Dr. Ferzli is a very quiet man,he is an excellant surgeon.After he completed my gastric bypass, he went down and spoke to my friends and family and reassurred them everything went well.He and his associates checked on me a couple of times a day while I was in the hospital,and my first visit to him after surgery to remove staples was quick and painless.His office staff is great and all my pre-op appointments went without a hitch.
