My first impression of Dr Kent was that he is a very quiet man but listens to what you have to say. He explains everything to you that you need to know. He doesn't rush and never makes you feel like he is in a hurry like some doctors do. He makes you feel very comfortable and safe to ask any questions you have. He is the best in my opinion and I have all the confidence in the world in him.
I see Dr Kent about every 4 wks but I know if I have any problems at all that he will be there. He is a very experience Doctor in several WLS and has many many lapband patients as well as a wonderful surgeon in other areas. He explains how exercise is important in your weight loss and make suggestions of things you can do for exercise and other things to help in your Weight loss process.
I can't... [Click here for more] say enough about his excellent office staff and nurses he has in the office. They are the top of the line in insurance infomation and other issues. You have a nutritionist and pyschologist on site. If I have a problem and need to see the doctor, the office staff is on top of it..I never have to wait a long time for an appointment. They are always friendly and professional. There is nothing negative I can think of about him or his office staff. I am so glad I have Dr Kent as my doctor. To me he is the best!

When I initially saw him I was very impressed by his honesty and professionalism. As time went on I realized he genuinely cared for his patients and took pride in his work. The staff in the office were extremely friendly and supportive. I have no complaints about Dr. Kent to this day. If I have a question I can call him and he will speak to me directly that is very important in a surgeon. I think that his future patients need to know that he is honest about what you need to do to get your weight under control. He really pushes exercise and I love that. Dr. Kent was very supportive in aftercare. He personally called me a few times after surgery to check on me and see if I had any questions. I was very pleased. Dr. Kent definitely believes in follow up and really works around... [Click here for more] your schedule. Dr. Kent was very honest and upfront about the risks of surgery and he gave me other options so I did not feel pressured into surgery. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Kent to anyone. I felt like the whole experience was wonderful and I have no regrets. I have a great surgeon.

Dr. Kent seem to me to very compassionate about helping people with the WLS.
My Impression has not changed I thnk he is a wonderful person and DR.
Have not found a thing I don't like about him.
Well you should know you will bein the best of care under Dr Kent...
Dr kent and his entire staff are behind you as long as you need their help.
Dr Kent gave a four hour talk to all of use prior to going in to te WLS and told all the goods and the possible Bads.
I Rate Dr Kent s one of the best WLS in the country.

I met Dr. Kent at "The truth about WLS" workshop his office provides. He seemed to be very caring and concerned about people that need/want WLS. I sent in the proper paperwork and $30 application fee to only find out his office no longer accepts my insurance (tricare prime, military insurance). This really astounds me considering that both Dr. Kent and his colleague Dr. Henderson are prior military; yet they do not accept military insurance.
