Dr. Friedman and all of the girls on staff (Amanda, Bonnie, Amy, Glenda & Betty) are absolutely INCREDIBLE, i have never felt more comfortable with a doctor's office. Dr. Friedman has been wonderful, from my initial consult to my follow up care. When i was in the hospital everyone in the office came to check on me, how often do you hear that? i am actually a baptist employee so i see Dr. Friedman around and you know how most Dr's would be stuck up and not speak to you, not Dr. Friedman every time he see's me no matter how big of a rush or how busy he is he always makes it a point to stop and ask me how i am doing and comment me on my progress. It always makes me feel like a million bucks to have him speak to me! it makes me feel special and that he actually cares about how i am... [Click here for more] doing. He has the best personality and just makes you feel comfortable. I would most definately recomend Dr. Friedman to anyone interested in having weight loss surgery, he is by far the best Dr i have ever had. Dr. Friedman and his staff have been really great to work with. My surgery went very well amd my aftercare has been great. Dr.Friedman has a wonderful bedside manner adn he really truly seems to care about his patients. I would recommend Dr. Friendman to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

I have struggled with my weight for a long time and after reading about the Lap Banding procedure I knew it was what I wanted to do. I called Dr. Friedman's office and set up my initial apointment. Dr. Friedman was very easy to talk to, he explained everything to my understanding and I was very confident that I had made the right decision in choosing him to do my surgery. My husband was thrilled at how confident I was in Dr. Freidman that it made him more comfortable with my having the procedure. He is very patient and easy going with me and did not rush the visit in any way. I was comfortable asking questions also. His staff was very nice and pleasent. During my overnight hospital stay when he came in to see me he was his same pleasent and easyging self. He answered all questions... [Click here for more] I had. I have recommeded him to some of my firends who are looking into this surgery. One of them already has an appointment with him and two others are waiting for their appointments.

My first impression was aloof. But over time he has been wonderful. his manner the hospital was excellent. The office is great.He emphasizes a lot of after care. Yes, he has a structured aftercare. My last appoinment with him he explained the risks. I am a RN educator and the Baritric floor is one of my floors. Surgical Competence is better. Dr. Friedman, his entire staff and Baptist Hospital Bariatric nurses are wonderful! He was sure to educate me in every manner (I had lap band) and checked up on me in the hospital several times each day. Everything about him is wonderful and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Dr Friedman was super! He answered all of the questions I had(I have been researching this for 6 months so I didnt have a whole lot), explained in depth both lap band and gastric bypass. My husband and I really like him and are very impressed by his knowledge, I hear he was trained by the best, Dr Jeffrey Lord.

I had Lap-Band surgery with Dr. Friedman on Feb. 6th 2008. Every step of the surgery process was wonderful and reassuring. He and his staff guided me through each step from insurance approval to aftercare. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is always willing to answer any questions that you may have. He never made me feel rushed or silly regardless of what questions I had. I have had several surgeries in the past and this has been the best. I had little pain, no complications or infections. I was well informed by him and his staff of after-care procedures so there was no anxiety or confusion during healing. My first impression was that he was young and at the time working under Dr. Lord. This told me he was a very sharp young man or Dr. Lord would not be training him. As time went i realized that he was in fact an outstanding Doctor in his own right and a very caring and sincere person. His office staff is wonderful, always there when you need them. Once you are able to get past the phone sys. To be honest i cannot think of a single thing that i did not like about Dr. Friedman. Future patients should know that he will never lie to you or make light of the possible side efforts of the surgery. Aftercare and its roll in the recovery process is at the top of his list of must do's. As far as the risks of the surgey went i do not believe that i have ever been more fully informed about them... [Click here for more] and as a result had no real worries about the procedure. The least i can say about Dr. Friedman is that i believe that he is the best in the area at what he does. Dr. Lord can be proud of having played a part in his training. There are no areas that Dr. Friedman is not #1 in based on my surgery and aftercare.
