My first impression of Dr Williams is great! He explains things in detail. I loved the fact that he seemed to have time for ME! not just in a hurry to get to the next patient. The office and staff have been more than wonderful to me - from giving me directions when Im in the middle of that detour on I-40 and running late for my appointment - to doing everthing in their power to schedule appointments working around my work schedule. There was nothing that I did not like about Dr. Williams or the office and staff. I just can not say enough good things about them at this point! Posted on 06/24/2008 |

My first impression of Dr. Williams was "Geeze, he's kinda young!" but as soon as he started answering my and my husbands questions I knew I was in good hands.
His staff was simply incredible. Stephanie and Melissa are just as nice as they can be and it's sincere, not fake. They made me feel very comfortable and not the least bit nervous.
I can honestly say I can not think of one thing I don't like about Dr. Williams or his staff.
Dr. Wiliams thoroughly detailed the before, during and after of the surgery. He told me what i need to do beforehand to get ready and what to expect after. He covered the risks in great detail.
I've only had the consultation but from what I can see so far, I think everything else will be a 10. Posted on 04/17/2008 |

I LOVE Dr. Williams.
The first time I saw Dr. Williams was at the informational seminar. I got a very good impression of him and decided to make my consult appointment with him.
At the appointment, I felt very comfortable with his competency and decided I wanted to go with him.
The next time I saw him was the day of surgery in the hospital. Since my surgery, I've gotten to know him much better and have been super impressed. And most importantly, his skill as a surgeon became very apparent and made me feel safe, especially during my complication.
Five days after surgery, one of my incisions became infected, and I had to go to the ER. Rather than let one of the ER docs drain it, which could have been done, he came straight from emergency surgery to the ER to do it himself.... [Click here for more] Dr. Williams' nurses are also top notch - Sarah and Andrea. They were amazing when I came into the office with the infection and even helped me when I was in the ER waiting for Dr. Williams (the ER wouldn't take me back etc, so I called Sarah from the waiting room). She put me on hold, paged Dr. Williams, and actually got in touch with him while he was still in the operating room and let me know what was going on and when he'd be down to the ER. They've also answered all of my questions with endless patience...even the ones where I called crying.
I'd use Dr. Williams again in a second!

I'm just beginning the process of getting accepted for WLS. I met with Dr. Williams after attending his seminar. He is very thorough, competent, and reassuring. He seems to genuinely care for his patients needs. I look forward to continuing this process with him as my surgeon. Posted on 01/28/2008 |

I first met Dr. Williams at the informational seminar about 6 months ago. I felt like he was all about business and very knowledgeable.
I don't have much background information on him professionally and am leaving it up to Dr. Boyce to only offer superior fellow surgeons. After meeting with Dr. Williams again recently, my impression has not changed much. He is armed with lots of necessary facts that were very helpful in easing my mind. I guess the only thing I could possibly say that maybe he could work on (as could many other Drs) is to show a little bit more of his personality - maybe a smile or a laugh would do. (Edited to say that he has come out of his shell a little more each time that I have seen him. He has even talked about himself and I am glad to know that he... [Click here for more] can try to relate to me as an obese person. Very happy with him as my surgeon!)
Premier does have a structured aftercare program. Dr. Williams mentioned that this process is team work and that my end of the deal starts after his ends. This is so true and I really never thought of it like that.
I feel that both competence and bedside manner is necessary. I feel like in time Dr. Williams can prove to me that he is both. (Edited to say that he has shown me more and more of each of these aspects.)
