Dr. Lee Schmitt is a wonderful doctor. I was given all the information I needed prior to surgery. it was not just to make an appointment and get it done. It took me 3 months from start to finish. i was given all the pros and cons of the surgery. I greatly appreciate Dr. Schmitt for his dedication to his patients. Now I feel like I have a life to live! Having gastric bypass has enabled me to become the person I always should have been. Im forever grateful I did it. I'd also do it again in a heartbeat. I weighed 350lbs and lost 150lbs at age 64. I am a mother of 2 and a wife. I have had weight problems all my life. I just desired o be a nice size where I don't have to buy large size clothes and always have people watch me when I enter the buildng or call me names its a hurting feeling and I just decided to fix it. He is a very nice and pleasant man, he asked questions and asked me if I had any. He made the decision very easy for me and thats not common. He made me feel as though I had a choice in the decision and not bagger me about it or confuse me in anyway. He is very generous and concerned. Thank God for Dr's like Dr. Schmitt. I am a married, 27 year old mother of 4. I have been overweight since early teens, and I decided I had to change my life. I had the adjustable gastric band surgery and have not regretted it! I look foward to my future. My surgeon did a great job! he answered all my questions and didn't judge in anyway. He has a great staff that is supportive as well! A 36 year old over weight female with knee problems, back problems, sleep apnea, and tired all the time. I had to make a change in my life to have a life. I have been overweight my whole life. My whole family is overweight and I accepted that I would be overweight my whole life. I had been on every diet on the planet. Having surgery is the first time I have lost weight and had hope of keeping it off. Dr. Schmitt is very interested in helping with my weight loss goal. I was looking for a tool to help in weight loss and I have been given that tool with the adjustable gastric band.
