Dr. Bellanger is a great surgeon. He's not very talkative. He will answer any questions. He looks you in the eyes. He make you feel very comfortable. His office staff was great also. All I can say. . . is that Dr. Bellanger is awesome!!! He has been so supportive and so wonderful throughout my entire surgical experience. Dr. Bellanger has such a wonderful bedside manner and he has really earned a lot of respect from me by just listening to me and my concerns. I have never felt rushed or brushed over and he is so well versed in his field.
I do find his office staff to be always rushed and not especially personable- but Dr. Bellanger himself - seems to make up for all of their short comings.

My first impression of Dr. Bellanger was WOW! He explained everything all of the procedures that he does and then he meets with everyone individually. The office staff was very helpful and nice. St. Elizabeths Hospital is awesome. I have never been to a hospital where i had such a great experience. the staff there is great! Dr. Bellanger emphasizes after strongly! I had a sleeve gastrectomy and i have not regretted having the procedure done or having Dr. Bellanger do it. Posted on 09/14/2008 |

I liked Dr. Bellanger from the first time I met him. He took his time explaining the risks with VSG and how important aftercare is. He is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor with a great bedside manner. They have support group meetings around the LA area, but since I live over 2 hours away I am not able to attend them. I would have to give Dr. B a 10 for being such a great surgeon and I am glad he is the one who performed my life changing surgery!!! Posted on 08/23/2008 |

Dr. Bellanger and his office were great. Going in for the first time I was anxious. They totally made me feel at ease. Dr. Bellanger answered all of my questions. Dr. Bellanger was pleasant but not much of a talker. He basically answered the questions that I asked him. However, he was thorough in answering my questions. ice staff was very pleasant. My favorite was Maria C. There was one person who would not return phone calls (won't name). Over all I think he is a good Doctor. On Some things I think I slipped through the cracks. Allot of the information from the staff seemed to be a rushed process. I did not get any information on support groups or other resources. I would rate the office an 7 of 10. Even though Dr. Bellanger wasn't a giver of information. He gave me ample time to ask any questions and he answered them. Posted on 05/06/2008 |
