November 17, 2005:
My surgery date is December 5th. I am okay with everything just concerned what things will be like down the road. Long term complications. Can't be any worse than being overweight. I saw my endocrinologist today and told him and he said he thought it was great that I was having the surgery! That was so nice to hear. Often when you tell someone they give you negative feedback. So, I have decided to not tell too many people. I am telling most people that I am having my gallbladder taken out. This way they can't say anything negative.

Looks like no one has posted here for a while. My date is set for Nov. 29, 2005. I am so excited I can hardly think of anything else. A lot of appointments and test to do between now and then. But each step puts me that much closer. I am actually looking farward to this journey and my new life stlye. Please pray for me to have a safe surgery. I know God will be with me.

Hi Everyone: My name is Laura Lee Bezaire and I have my date scheduled for July 15th 2005. I am 55 years old and having an open RNY at Henry Ford Bi County Hospital in Warren MI. My surgeon is Dr. Keith Marshall. My daughter is also having the surgery just 2 weeks later on Aug. 1. I am not anxious about the surgery, my husband is a little bit. I am however anxious to get my "new" life going...

April 26, 2005:
I'm from Lithuania. And it's little hard for me to write in english...but i'll try :) In Lithuania we have to pay for our operation, but it's not so expensiv. My surgeon is Dr. Maleckas. It's one of 2 surgeons in Lithuania that can do this thing :( So...my operation day is on 2005 04 12, but it's not apruved yet. Doctor sayd that he'll call me this week... and than we'll know for sure. My weight is 110 kg. I'll write as soon as know when will be my operation
