Comments About Swedish Covenent Hospital:
My 1st impression was not very good he was falling asleep as he was talking to me about the procedure and that scared me. My impression change because I said "ok it was late in the day and maybe he had been in surgery all day" I set up another appointment just to see how he would be the 2nd time and he was wide awake very nice and informative. The office staff was great and very friendly they made me very comfortable. He does not seem to be pushing aftercare to much I seen him a week after surgery and he wants to see me back in a month, so I feel kinda on my own. he does allow me to call his cell though if I have questions. He does not have a structured aftercare program. He told me all the risks of surgery I was full aware of what I was getting myself into. Overall I would say he was good but I have asthma and was sent home within a couple of hours after surgery my breathing and chest pain got very bad and I had to go to the emergency I would of like to at least be kept for 12hrs since I had a health issue but If you don's have asthma you should have no problems, his surgical competence is great.

My first impression of Dr.Borland was very nice and he seemed concerned for my well being. He came to visit me twice at the home of a family members house I was staying after the surgery. I thought his office was nice, like any other. At first his staff seemed a little rude, but after talking and asking questions things changed alot and they were all helpful and nice. Anyone researching to have the sleeve should consider Dr Borland. He does give you lots of information regarding prior and aftercare of the surgery. I would rate him a 10 out of 10!

Personal Comments:
My starting weight was 246, I now weigh 140 and I am very happy with my results. It has been 5 years since my surgery and I have maintained my weight even after two more pregnancies.
Comments About Swedish Covenent Hospital:
I liked Dr. Nazarian. He answered all my questions. His office staff helped me get approved in less than two weeks and surgery was schedualed about four weeks later. No complications with the surgery. I moved from California to Mississippi shortly after my surgery and so all my follow up care was done with my new primary care doc.
