Do You Have BCBS State Health Benefit Plan HMO?

I have a tenative surgery date scheduled for May 13th 2003 and I have still not yet been approved by my insurance Company. I have BCBS State Health Benefit Plan and I am beginning to worry. I look so forward to this surgery like most of us do. And It seems like a life time to have gotten this far. If you have BCBS State benefit plan can you shed some light on the situation tell me your experiences with HMO.
