Pre-Approval letter is in the mail

My pre-approval request for a Lap Gastric Bypass is in the mail. I have tried to take as much "luck" out of the process as I could. First I called Aetna US Healthcare and asked if the procedure was covered. They check the policy and said it was. They preferred a pre-approval letter from my PCP. I gave my PCP samples of pre-approval letters and had his letter out in 24 hours. I also have a letter of approval from the psychiatrist who has been treating me for depression. Since my spouse works for a Fortune 500 company, I should have no problem. Most Fortune 500 companies are self-insured. The insurance company just administrates the policy and have little real interest other than some form of medical justification.
