Has anyone been able to get the Oregon Health Plan to pay for surgery?

I've been reasearching this surgery for over a year and have decided to get it done. I'm on OHP right now and have talked with Oregon Health Sciences Uni, they've been able to get OHP to pay. Any stories? I haven't talked to my PCP yet, is there any info. that I can give him to let me know that this is medically necessary? I've gotten my medical records together and am writing out a list of my diets through the years. Anything else?
