Question:
Does this mean they will cover WLS?

I am just wondering what my insurance exclusions means. It says," your medical plan will not pay for charges resulting from any of the following: Expense in the connection with services or supplies provided for treatment of obesity and weight reduction( except Morbid Obesity)". So that means they will cover it? Thanks for your help.    — Chrissy W. (posted on August 12, 2002)

That is almost exactly the same wording that my insurance handbook used and I was approved. I had my approval within 2 weeks of my letter of medical necessity.
