Question:
Does anyone have the number to call to check on approval for Medicaid of Illinois?

I used IPA and all I did was call the hospital and they checked to see if my ID number was valid. They said not to worry that I did not need to do anything to pre-qualify. So I went with that and I had all of my pre-op and then my surgery on 1-21-03. I have not heard anything from IPA or the hospital so I think all is fine. By the way I used Decatur Memorial Hospital, in Decatur IL.
