Hi, good news and bad news. Health Net, at their site www.healthnet.com allows you to fill out a application form. Bad news, I have tried every plan under a hundred dollars, and have not been accepted because of weight vs. Height. Since that is against the law, they pretty it up by send you plans that they will accept you on. Usually the plans are between 150.00 and 250.00, way to much for me but I figured I'd let you know. Good luck.

Kim, since each state is different, why not call your state Dept. of Insurance, and ask if they have a list of Insurers who sell individual policies. I'm in NJ, and they have a list with all the different plans and prices. Of course, it doesn't tell you if they cover WLS, but there is a 30-day recision period after you join if you change your mind, so you have a chance to look over the "exclusions." It can be time-consuming and just a pain in the butt, but at least there's an out if you want to change plans.
