Question:
Any medical neccessary BL payed by Tricare?

Had my initial consult w/ a PS, found to have too little breast tissue for a reduction, despite my "large and pendulous" 40 D's<sigh> Now ps office is submitting approval for lift based on medical necessity due to my back and shoulder pain, which is the original reason my pcm sent me to her. Has anyone had a lift due to medical neccessity with out rashes approved by Tricare? Thanks in advance!    — PhyllisM (posted on June 11, 2005)

I've never heard of it, but I hope so because I am fairly sure i will need one once these 44dd's become pancakes.

I would like to know the answer to this one. My PCM has sent a letter to my PS to also send to Tricare to "help" get the approval. I also have been seen for neck, shoulder, and back pain. I went from 40-42DD's to a small 34C. My PCM sent me for Physical Therapy at one time to see if that would help, and of course it did'nt!! Good Luck with this. I will update and let everyone know how mine turns out in the end. TTFN : )
