Question:
Has anyone recently been approved for surgery with BCBS POS? Was is difficult?

Lisamarie, Yes I just had surgery on June 8, 2005. I had BCBS-POS. My surgery was 100% covered. It does take a while and you have a lot of hoops to go through, but your doctor should know about the hoops and what they need. After your paper work is sent to them it takes three weeks. I was approved the first time with no appeal. I called them everyday and bugged them. They might have got tired of me calling and approved me, oh well I pay premiums, they work for me.
