I need a good dr. in bay area who does RNY and accepts blue cross ppo

I am looking for a good doctor in Sunnyvale, Mountain View area who accepts Blue Cross PPO (Prudent Buyer) as well as a PCP with the same who is likely to refer for the surgery.. Thanks.    — christiej (posted on August 8, 2005)

I have an excellent Doctor in the Bayarea, he is located in Sunnyvale. Dr. Greg Hooper is my primary Doctor who is located on Remington ave, he refered me without a second thought.I did however pick out where I wanted to have my surgery. I decided to gop to Stanford. So Far so good, they are excellent there, I havent had my surgery yet but I have already completed all of my test. Good Luck to you!!!

Dr. F. Otero with Mt. Diablo Hospital Weight Loss Center. His specialty is Laproscopic RNY. The staff, Anne Timberlake, Shirley, Vikki and Karol are outstanding. Dr. Otero pioneered laproscopic procedures in the Bay Area. I had my surgery on Monday, came home on Wednesday. I'm feeling great! Good Luck!
