Anyone have UHC Choice

I do, but I bet my policy is different from yours. Each policy is differnt. UHC Choice has 9875283975239878967 different policies, fortunately, you only need to be concerned about yours. The title of your questions says Exclusion approval. Are you wanting to know if they will approve if you have an exclusion?

Brandi, I just read your insurance info in your profile. Who told you that you have an exclusion and that UHC would pay if THEY decided it was medically necessary? If it was your doctor...he is wrong. If it was UHC, you got a nut on the phone. I need to see your exact exclusion to give you more advice on that aspect, however UHC does not decide medical necessity. They were one of the first companies to make that change, they leave that decision up to your doctor. Your doctor knows this. If your exclusion states that they will pay only if it is medically necessary and only for morbidly obese patients...then the magic 8 ball says....Things look good for you. I would need to see the wording to give better advice.
