Question:
What employers in Portland Oregon have insurance that cover WLS?

I work for Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield in Oregon and they don't cover this surgery for me. I need to find another employer in order to make this happen. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I am a Business Analyst and work in computer configuration and problem solving (I am not a programmer though by any means).    — Dawn R. Hi Dawn, My insurance is thru my husbands employer (Stimson Lumber). We have Pacific Life and Annuity with Providence as our health care management team. They covered the entire cost. I know that BC/BS covers it- but it depends on if your employer has a specific exclusion for it. Might be something to take up with your HR dept. Good luck.
